Introduction:

The main ingredients of the container desiccant are calcium chloride and plant starch. Its moisture absorption works through the strong hygroscopic properties of calcium chloride, which draws moisture from the air. When combined with the starch, it forms a gel, effectively preventing liquid leakage. Under conditions of 50°C temperature and 95% relative humidity, its moisture absorption rate can reach 300% within 30 days.

Why Use Container Desiccants?

During transportation, the temperature inside the container fluctuates due to day and night cycles, which in turn causes variations in the container’s relative humidity. This often leads to two issues: “container rain” and “cargo sweat.” Container desiccants are specifically designed to address these problems by absorbing excess moisture inside the container, thereby preventing condensation.

Container Rain: When a container moves from a high-temperature region to a lower-temperature one, the internal temperature drops to the dew point. At this point, water vapor condenses into droplets that accumulate on the top and inner walls of the container. These droplets eventually fall onto the cargo.

Cargo Sweat: When goods are transported from a cold region to a warmer one, or when the storage environment shifts from cold to hot, the moisture in the air condenses on the surface of the goods or their packaging, forming water droplets.

Container Dry Pole

The product consists of 10 calcium chloride powder packets, each weighing 100g, with a total net weight of 1000g. The inner bags are made of leak-proof packaging materials. The middle layer is wrapped with non-woven fabric for additional leak protection. The outermost layer is reinforced with hard cardboard, making the product more resistant to compression.

Container Dry Strip

The product contains 10 packets of calcium chloride powder, each with a net weight of 100g, totaling 1000g. The inner bags use leak-proof packaging materials, while the exterior is wrapped in non-woven fabric, further enhancing the leak-proof function.

Container Dry Strip Plus

The product consists of 14 packets of calcium chloride powder, each with a net weight of 100g, for a total net weight of 1400g. The inner bags are made from leak-proof packaging materials, and the exterior is wrapped in non-woven fabric, further enhancing its leak-proof capabilities.

Cargo Dry Blanket

The product is made up of 15 arranged calcium chloride powder packets, increasing the desiccant’s moisture absorption surface area, resulting in excellent moisture absorption performance. The exterior is wrapped in non-woven fabric, further enhancing its leak-proof capabilities.

This product incorporates a unique water-locking formula. After absorbing moisture, the materials transform into a gel-like state, effectively trapping the water to prevent any re-evaporation or leakage.
